みなさんこんばんは。千葉県議会議員（香取市・香取郡神崎町・香取郡多古町選出）の、かとう裕太（加藤裕太）です。
2025年7月27日、ZOZOマリンスタジアムで行われた夏の高校野球千葉県大会の決勝戦で、母校の八千代松陰高校野球部は市立船橋高校と対戦し、延長10回に逆転サヨナラで敗れて準優勝となりました。
決勝戦は応援に行けませんでしたが、野球部の同期が応援に行っており、送ってもらった写真や動画を見るとスタンドは満員で大変な盛り上がりでした。
今年の決勝戦のチケットは予約制となっており、昨日の時点で「決勝戦のチケットは取れるの？」と複数お問い合わせをいただきましたが、コンビニやネットを確認してみると空席はなく、多分完売となっていたようでした。
満員の大観衆の中という特別な環境の中での試合は大変なところも多かったと思いますが、最後まで諦めずに闘い抜いたことは貴重な経験になるのではないかと思います。
八千代松陰の選手のみなさん、関係者のみなさん、お疲れ様でした。
そして優勝した市立船橋の選手のみなさん、関係者のみなさん、おめでとうございます！
千葉県の代表として、甲子園で実力を発揮していただき、大活躍されることを祈っています。
夏の高校野球千葉県大会は今日で終わりということになりますが、たくさんの熱戦ができる環境を整えてくださった全てのみなさん、ありがとうございました。
Yachiyo Shoin High School Baseball Team Finishes as Runner‑Up After a Sayonara Loss to Ichiritsu Funabashi in the Final of the 2025 Chiba Prefecture Summer High School Baseball Tournament

Good evening, everyone.
I am Yuta Kato, a member of the Chiba Prefectural Assembly representing Katori City, Kozaki Town, and Tako Town.
On July 27, 2025, in the final of the Chiba Prefecture Summer High School Baseball Tournament held at ZOZO Marine Stadium, my alma mater, Yachiyo Shoin High School Baseball Team, faced Ichiritsu Funabashi High School and suffered a walk‑off defeat in the 10th inning, finishing as runner‑up.
Although I was unable to attend the final, some of my former teammates from the baseball club were there to cheer, and from the photos and videos they sent me, I could see the stands were packed and the atmosphere was electric.
This year’s final required advance reservations for tickets. Up until yesterday, I received several inquiries such as, “Can I still get a ticket for the final?”
However, after checking at convenience stores and online, there appeared to be no available seats, likely meaning the tickets were sold out.
Competing in such a special environment, surrounded by a full house of passionate supporters, must have been challenging in many ways. But I believe the experience of fighting to the very end without giving up will be invaluable for the players.
To all the players and everyone involved with Yachiyo Shoin, thank you for your hard work!
And to the players and everyone involved with Ichiritsu Funabashi, congratulations on your victory!
As Chiba Prefecture’s representative, I wish you the best as you showcase your abilities and achieve great success at Koshien.
Although this year’s Chiba Prefecture Summer High School Baseball Tournament has come to an end, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who worked hard to create an environment where so many exciting games could take place.
