みなさんこんばんは。千葉県議会議員（香取市・香取郡神崎町・香取郡多古町選出）の、かとう裕太（加藤裕太）です。
2026年2月11日から15日まで、冬のさつまいも博2026が幕張メッセで開催されました。
約36,000人が訪れた夏のさつまいも博に続き、千葉県内で初の開催となりました。
香取市内の事業者さんのお店の出展のほか、千葉県ブース「紅のご褒美～千葉県産さつまいも～」でも、香取市や多古町の事業者さんの商品がたくさん販売されていました。
千葉県としても、紅のご褒美～千葉県産さつまいも～として、千葉県産のさつまいものPRに力を入れているところですので、夏のさつまいも博に続いて開催された冬のさつまいも博は全国のみなさんに千葉県のさつまいもを知っていただける大変貴重な機会になったと思います。
今回の冬のさつまいも博をきっかけに、さらに千葉県のさつまいものPRに力を入れていっていただくとともに、以前から要望をしているところですが、今後もこういったイベントなどを開催する機会を継続してつくっていっていただきたいと思います。
さつまいも博については、2月25日に行われる、かとう裕太の一般質問でも伺う予定です。

From February 11 to 15, 2026, the Winter Sweet Potato Expo 2026 was held at Makuhari Messe.
Following the Summer Sweet Potato Expo, which attracted approximately 36,000 visitors, this marked the first-ever winter edition held in Chiba Prefecture.
In addition to booths by businesses from Katori City, many products from companies based in Katori City and Tako Town were also sold at the Chiba Prefecture booth titled “A Crimson Reward – Sweet Potatoes from Chiba.”
Chiba Prefecture has been actively promoting sweet potatoes produced in the prefecture under the brand “A Crimson Reward – Sweet Potatoes from Chiba.” In that sense, the Winter Sweet Potato Expo, held following the summer event, provided a highly valuable opportunity for people from across the country to learn more about Chiba’s sweet potatoes.
Taking this Winter Sweet Potato Expo as a catalyst, I hope that further efforts will be made to promote Chiba’s sweet potatoes. As I have previously requested, I also strongly hope that opportunities to continue holding events like this will be created in the future.
Regarding the Sweet Potato Expo, I plan to raise questions about it during my general interpellation on February 25.
