2025年7月17日（木）午前0時から、東関東自動車道の佐原香取ICが、ETC専用料金所に変わります。
佐原香取ICのETC専用化はいつから？
実施日：2025年7月17日（木）午前0時〜
場所：東関東自動車道 佐原香取インターチェンジ（千葉県香取市）
同日には、埼玉県の関越自動車道の嵐山小川ICも同様にETC専用になります。
ETC車以外は通れない？注意点と対処方法
ETCカードの未挿入や車載器未搭載の車でご利用された場合は、後退せずに、『ＥＴＣ/サポート』又は『サポート』と表示されたレーンを通行し、一旦停止して現地の案内や係員の指示に従ってください、とのことです。
また、設備点検等によるＥＴＣレーン閉鎖時は、ＥＴＣ車もサポートレーンをご利用ください。
「ETC専用」の標識も設置されます
インターチェンジ付近の高速道路本線や一般道には、「ETC専用」とわかる標識が設置されます。

Starting from Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 12:00 a.m., the Sawara-Katori Interchange on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway will become an ETC-only tollgate.
When will the Sawara-Katori IC become ETC-only?
Start Date & Time: Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 12:00 a.m.
Location: Sawara-Katori Interchange, Higashi-Kanto Expressway (Katori City, Chiba Prefecture)
On the same day, the Ranzan-Ogawa IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway in Saitama Prefecture will also be converted to ETC-only.
Non-ETC Vehicles Cannot Pass? Precautions and What to Do
If you attempt to use the ETC-only tollgate without an ETC card inserted or without an on-board ETC unit, do not reverse your vehicle. Instead, proceed to the lane marked “ETC/Support” or “Support”, come to a complete stop, and follow the instructions provided by on-site staff.
During temporary ETC lane closures (e.g., for maintenance), even ETC-equipped vehicles should use the support lane.
“ETC-Only” Signage Will Be Installed
Signs indicating “ETC専用 (ETC Only)” will be placed on both the expressway and surrounding general roads near the interchange, clearly informing drivers in advance.
